The low cost, small size laser shutter / low frequency pulse picker model SH-66 is a VERY LOW VIBRATION electro mechanical device. It consist a stepping motor with a mirror that turns from 0 degrees to 45 degrees to deflects a laser beam without a hard stop. There is no clicking or knocking noise. Changing the position the mirror does not create shock or vibrations. This is useful when working on an optical table and where a vibration free environment is required.

The long life device, 100 million cycles min., is easy to operate. It is suitable to be par an instrument or a system and is valuable when integrated into an OEM product. It is very cost effective in high volume.
Enhanced aluminum mirrors are standard. Gold, silver and dielectric coated mirrors are optional. You can indicate the most suitable coating for your application or you can supply your own mirrors.

The shutter can be used also as a PULSE PICKER for up to 20Hz with a response time of 15msec.

We offer the following models (custom, standard and OEM) for the SH-66 shutter:
SH-66-NC the mirror has no cover (NC). You need to collect the energy into an energy dump. Shutter allows horizontal or vertical mounting.
SH-66-B shutter is boxed in an aluminum box with a 0.5" (12.6mm) dia. through hole. Good for a laser beam of 3W max. Shutter allows horizontal and vertical mounting .
SH-66-BH shutter is boxed in an aluminum box with a 0.5" (12.6mm) dia. through hole. With a heatsink. Good for a laser beam of 6W max. Shutter allows horizontal and vertical mounting .
SH-66-BDH shutter is boxed in an aluminum box with a 0.5" (12.6mm) dia. through hole. With two heatsinks. Good for a laser beam of 10W max. Shutter allows horizontal and vertical mounting .


SH-66-NC:

The shutter has no cover and the mirror is exposed and allows horizontal and vertical mountin. You need to collect the energy into an energy dump.


SH-66-B:

The shutter is boxed and allows horizontal and vertical mounting. Good for average laser beam 3W max.

SH-66-BH:

The shutter is boxed with a heatsink, and allows horizontal and vertical mounting. Good for average laser beam 6W max.


SH-66-BDH:

The shutter is boxed with two heatsinks, and allows horizontal and vertical mounting. Good for average laser beam 10W max.


SPECIFICATIONS (When used with the DSH-66 Driver):

RESPONSE TIME: 15 mSec, from the change in the TTL input till the mirror motion is completed.

TTL INPUT CONTROL SIGNAL: LOW - 0V, HIGH - 5V or 3.3V
OPTION 1: when used with the DSH-66 driver:
TTL "Lo" or NO TTL input signal to open the shutter
TTL "Hi" to close the shutter
OPTION 2: when used with the DSH-66 driver:
TTL "Lo" or NO TTL input signal to close the shutter
TTL "Hi" to open the shutter
PULSE PICKER APPLICATION: 20Hz max.
OPERATING TEMPERATURE: 0-65 deg C.

DSH-66 DRIVER is designed specially to control the model SH-66 shutter.
A TTL input signal controls the position the shutter, open or close, (see specifications for the SH-66 shutter). The driver includes a BNC TTL input connector.
The response time the shutter to the TTL input is 15mSec.
The maximum TTL input frequency is 25Hz.

The following DSH-66 drivers are available:
- The DSH-66-PC, a printed circuit board level driver with components, (3.9" x 2.6" x 0.5" max.), which requires an external power input regulated 12Vdc 200mA (not included).
- The DSH-66-110, a boxed driver (5.3" x 5.3" x 2") with internal power supply, operating from a line voltage 110 to 120V Vac.
- The DSH-66-220, a boxed driver (5.3" x 5.3" x 2") with internal power supply, operating from a line voltage 220 to 240V Vac.
The drivers include a BNC TTL input connectors.

DSH-66 DRIVER CONFIGURATION:
EOPC offers drivers that include a BNC option to enable the user to control the shutter with a TTL signal.
The following drivers are available:
Model DSH-66-PC: A board level driver with components which requires an external regulated 12Vdc 200mA power supply
Model DSH-66-110: A cased driver, 5.3" x 5.3" x 2", Operating from a line voltage of 110Vac to 120Vac
Model DSH-66-220: A cased driver, 5.3" x 5.3" x 2", Operating from a line voltage of 220Vac to 240Vac

ORDERING INFORMATION:
Example 1:
PART NO. SH-66-NC with DSH-66-220 with TTL input OPTION 1.
This part number specifies the model SH-66 shutter without a cover. The enhanced aluminum coated mirror (or any mirror specified by the customer) is exposed. Customer needs to collect the energy into an energy dump (not supplied by EOPC). Allows horizontal and vertical mounting. Operating from a line voltage 220Vac.
With TTL input OPTION 1:
TTL "Lo" or NO TTL input signal to open the shutter
TTL "Hi" to close the shutter

Example 2:
PART NO. SH-66-B with DSH-66-220 with TTL input OPTION 2.
This part number specifies the model SH-66 shutter, with an enhanced aluminum coated mirror, in an aluminum box with a 0.5" (12.6mm) dia. through hole. Good for a laser beam of 3W max. Allows horizontal and vertical mounting. Operating from a line voltag 220Vac.
With TTL input OPTION 2:
TTL "Lo" or NO TTL input signal to close the shutter
